Welcome to the world as I see it. With this blog, I will attempt to share my point of view… more visually than verbally (or typed). For this first post though I’ll be a little more talkative. Ever since I was a small child cameras fascinated me, whether they were Polaroids or cheap drug store 110s. I especially remember this old camera we had in our house. it was one of those that you looked down into. I don’t remember the make or anything like that, just that I was amazed that something like that could freeze moments in time, seeing something that could never be seen in the exact same way ever again.
Over the past few years, I have gotten into nature photography. Unfortunately though my budget never quite allows for really good equipment, so I make do with what I can get my hands on. Up until recently I had been using a Kodak p850, which took surprisingly nice photos once you wrapped your head around the camera’s quirks. That camera met a gruesome end at the hands of the Atlantic ocean, so I’ve been relegated to using a small Kodak point and shoot or my cell phone, and on some occasions a cheap underwater camera made by a company called VuPoint.
I also recently stumbled upon an app for my Android phone called Streamzoo, that allows for quite a bit of photo editing that has made the restriction of using a small lensed camera a lot more fun. I hope to update this blog frequently, so stay tuned!
Glad to see you here!

Thanks! I’ve been using WordPress on my own site theZUDreport.com for a while and liked it. Wanted to do something with my photography, but didn’t want to do all the set up again. This was the best alternative.
